Purchase an Energy Star heat pump water heater and receive a $300 rebate from Four County EMC.
- Unit must be placed in primary residence; vacation homes and rentals do not qualify.
- Minimum tank size: 50 gallons
- Must submit rebate form and copy of sales receipt within 90 days of purchase
- Co-op reserves the right to verify installation

ENERGY STAR Appliance Rebate Program
With documentation and proof of purchase of a qualified ENERGY STAR appliance Four County members are eligible for a $50 rebate.
ENERGY STAR qualified products and practices help you save money and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by meeting energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. EPA and U.S. DOE. The ENERGY STAR label also designates greater energy performance in homes and buildings.
Remember, when buying an appliance it has two price tags: what you pay to take it home and what you pay for the energy and water it uses. ENERGY STAR qualified appliances incorporate advanced technologies that use 10-50% less energy and water than standard models.
Major appliances that are eligible for the rebates are:
- refrigerators
- dishwashers
- clothes washers
- freezers
- dryers
Look for the ENERGY STAR label when making your purchase. This mark will appear on appliance packaging.

Heat Pump Rebates
Heat pump rebates are available for any member that installs a 16 SEER or greater heat pump. This applies to new construction or retrofits. The rebate is $100 per ton. Proof of purchase is required in order to receive the rebate.
It is not a requirement to go through the loan program to receive the heat pump rebate. The unit must be placed in primary residence. Proof of purchase from HVAC dealer is required in order to receive the rebate and the co-op reserves the right to verify installation. Thank you for your interest in our heat pump rebate program.
